Getting an idea of how many previous satisfied customers they have may give you a little reassurance that they can do their job correctly and well.
Another thing to look at when researching the company, is how long that company has been established. I know that you shouldn't judge a book by it’s cover, but most people would be more likely to go with a company who has been establish for a longer period of time when compared to a company who may only be a couple of months old.
